About
Keita Isaka is a robotics researcher whose work centers on biologically inspired excavation systems for extreme and inaccessible environments, particularly the seafloor and lunar subsurface. Drawing inspiration from earthworm locomotion and setae mechanics, Isaka has pioneered the development of autonomous drilling robots capable of penetrating and sampling sediment in conditions where conventional equipment is impractical or prohibitively expensive.
