About
Haojia Li is a pioneering roboticist whose research focuses on pushing the boundaries of autonomous aerial systems, from micro-swarm coordination to high-speed dynamic flight. Li’s most celebrated work, “Swarm of micro flying robots in the wild” (539 citations), demonstrated the first-ever deployment of a multi-drone swarm navigating through dense, unstructured forests—a breakthrough that overcomes the twin challenges of unknown environments and tight coordination.
