About
Gangfeng Liu is a leading figure in bio-inspired robotics, specializing in miniature amphibious robots, surface tension-driven locomotion, and intelligent robotic control. His groundbreaking work on water strider-inspired robots has redefined how small-scale machines interact with water surfaces. Notably, he developed the first miniature surface tension-driven robot using spatially elliptical moving legs (43 citations) and later achieved the challenging feat of mimicking water strider jumping (37 citations).
