Caoyang Yu is a leading researcher in the guidance, navigation, and control of marine robotic systems, with a particular focus on fuzzy-logic-based intelligence for both surface and underwater vehicles. His seminal survey on fuzzy-logic guidance and control for marine vessels has garnered over 340 citations, establishing a foundational reference for the field.
