Andrea Ranieri is a robotics researcher whose work sits at the intersection of marine autonomy, human-robot interaction, and intelligent guidance systems. Best known for contributions to underwater robotics, Ranieri has played a significant role in two landmark European and Italian initiatives — the CADDY project and the MARIS national program — both aimed at developing autonomous robotic systems capable of operating alongside human divers in challenging underwater environments.
