Christopher Roman is a pioneering marine roboticist whose work has fundamentally advanced our ability to explore and map the deep ocean. His research sits at the intersection of autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs), seafloor mapping, and underwater sensing, with applications spanning archaeology, Arctic exploration, and marine ecology.
