Minh Hung Vu is a robotics and control systems researcher whose work centers on haptic interfaces, teleoperation, and intelligent control for robotic systems. He is best known for his development of a novel 6-DOF parallel haptic device, introduced in his most-cited work (2011, 75 citations), which ingeniously combines two 3-DOF parallel structures with a steering handle to achieve low inertia, large orientation angles, and high applied torques — qualities essential for precise teleoperation of serial robots.
