About

Hongwei Jing is pioneering the frontier of human augmentation through the design and control of supernumerary robotic limbs (SRLs)—wearable robotic arms that function as a third limb to enhance human capability. His research centers on creating intuitive, reconfigurable, and disturbance-resistant SRLs that can assist in tasks impossible or difficult for human hands alone.
