Zonglin Liu is a rising leader in the field of bio-inspired soft robotics and stimuli-responsive materials, with a focus on creating sustainable, high-performance actuators. His research integrates principles from nature—such as snake locomotion and dried bonito flakes—to design hydrogels and soft robots that respond to light, moisture, and pressure.
