About

Wei Ye is a robotics and autonomous systems researcher whose work spans wireless networked robotics, autonomous navigation, and multi-robot coordination. His foundational 2002 contribution, "Evaluating Control Strategies for Wireless-Networked Robots," addressed a critical challenge at the intersection of robotics and communications — demonstrating how robot controllers and communication subsystems interact within multi-robot teams.
