About
Vinayak Honkote is a leading researcher at the intersection of robotics, autonomous navigation, and energy-efficient embedded systems. His work fundamentally addresses the challenge of enabling mobile robots and multi-robot swarms to operate intelligently and autonomously in complex, cluttered, and unknown environments. Honkote's major contributions lie in developing novel path planning algorithms, such as the Kinematic Constraints Based Bi-directional RRT (KB-RRT) and its Gaussian Mixture Model-driven successor, PG-RRT.
