About
Lairong Yin is a pioneering roboticist whose research bridges medical robotics, flexible manipulators, and intelligent manufacturing. His work centers on cable-driven mechanisms, origami-inspired designs, and adaptive control systems for surgical and industrial applications. Yin’s most impactful contribution is his dynamic modeling and vibration suppression of single-link flexible manipulators with dual cables (53 citations), which provides foundational insights for precision control in flexible robotics.
