About

Ruokun He is a rising leader in the field of magnetic soft robotics and advanced microfabrication, with a focus on creating intelligent, miniaturized systems for biomedical and industrial applications. His research centers on the design and control of magnetic milli- and fiber robots, integrating multiscale functional structures and programmable shape-morphing capabilities. He has made major contributions to the development of submillimeter-scale magnetic fiber robots that incorporate micro-tools at their distal ends using a novel “Swiss roll” assembly strategy, enabling multifunctional operation under magnetic fields.
