About
Linan Guo is a pioneering researcher in the field of bioinspired triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) for underwater robotics and sensing. Her work focuses on developing self-powered, highly sensitive tactile and pressure sensors that mimic the sensory capabilities of marine organisms. Guo’s major contributions include the creation of an underwater biomimetic lateral line sensor based on TENG technology, which enables dynamic pressure monitoring and trajectory perception—a breakthrough for autonomous underwater vehicles. This work has garnered 29 citations since 2023. She also developed a palm-like 3D tactile sensor using liquid-metal TENGs for underwater robot grippers, achieving 21 citations in 2024.
