Ketan Rasal is a pioneer in autonomous marine robotics, specializing in the design, navigation, and control of unmanned surface vessels (USVs) for hydrographic surveying. His core research focuses on developing innovative robotic platforms capable of operating in extremely shallow, challenging coastal and inland waters where traditional survey vessels cannot venture.
