About
Fletcher Talbot is a leading roboticist whose work focuses on heterogeneous multi-robot systems, legged locomotion, and autonomous exploration of extreme environments. As a key member of Team CSIRO Data61, Talbot made a landmark contribution to the DARPA Subterranean Challenge, where his team tied for the top score by deploying a heterogeneous team of ground and aerial robots with unified perception and autonomy—a feat detailed in his highly cited 2022 paper (97 citations).
