Zhengyuan Xin is pioneering the next generation of soft robotics, with a focus on creating miniature machines that can dramatically alter their shape and motion to navigate the complex, confined environments of the human body. His key research areas encompass the design, fabrication, and dynamic control of hydrogel-based and bistable soft robots.
