Dr. Youqiang Wang is a robotics researcher whose work bridges the critical gap between human augmentation and autonomous inspection systems. His primary research areas include wearable medical robotics, lower-limb exoskeletons, and specialized inspection robots for confined spaces. Dr. Wang’s most impactful contribution is his 2021 study on structure optimization and motion characteristics of wearable medical robotics, which has garnered 57 citations. In this work, he pioneered the use of an Improved Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm to enhance the design and performance of medical assistive devices.
