About
Yang Yong is a pioneering roboticist whose work spans rehabilitation, rescue, and space exploration robotics. His most influential contribution, "Arm Rehabilitation Robot Impedance Control and Experimentation" (2006, 55 citations), introduced a control system that guides stroke patients' wrists along planned trajectories, directly addressing the critical need for automated physical therapy. Building on this, Yong developed a parent-child robot system for rescue missions (2009, 14 citations), enabling high mobility and stable communication in disaster zones.
