About

Thomas Gauron is a pioneering astronomical instrumentation scientist whose work has fundamentally enabled large-scale spectroscopic surveys. His key research area centers on the design and construction of multi-object fiber-fed spectrographs, most notably the revolutionary Hectospec and Hectochelle instruments at the MMT Observatory.
