Raimon Casanova is a pioneering researcher in the field of microrobotics and miniaturized control systems, with a focus on enabling autonomous operation at the sub-millimeter scale. His most notable contribution is the development of an optically programmable System-on-a-Chip (SoC) for an autonomous mm³-sized microrobot, a foundational component of the I-SWARM project.
