About
R.O. Ambrose is a pioneering roboticist whose career has been defined by the development of humanoid robotic systems for space exploration, most notably through NASA's landmark Robonaut program. Working at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Ambrose has been a central figure in designing and evolving anthropomorphic robots capable of performing the dexterous manipulation tasks traditionally reserved for human astronauts during extravehicular activities.
