Peidi Zhou is a prominent materials scientist and engineer whose research centers on smart actuators, flexible robotics, and multifunctional composite materials. Zhou has made significant contributions to the development of carbon-based responsive systems — particularly graphene and carbon nanotube composites — that respond to multiple stimuli including light, humidity, and electricity.
