About
Jeong-Sun Kim is a leading figure in macromolecular crystallography, with a primary focus on the development and application of cutting-edge synchrotron beamlines for protein structure determination. His most notable contribution is the design and commissioning of the BL-11C Micro-MX beamline at Pohang Light Source II, a high-flux microfocus facility that revolutionized the study of micrometre-sized protein crystals.
