About
Ilho Oh is a leading researcher in autonomous robotics for logistics, with a focus on intelligent manipulation and navigation in cluttered, real-world environments. His work centers on three key areas: robotic unloading sequence planning, in-pipe robot navigation, and vision-based box handling. Oh’s most impactful contribution is his development of a novel A-star search algorithm for autonomous container-unloading systems, which addresses the critical challenge of planning safe, collision-free sequences for packages in dense logistics containers—a problem that, if unsolved, can lead to costly damage and operational delays.
