Hidenori Kawamura is a robotics researcher whose work centers on autonomous aerial robotics, with a particular focus on indoor blimp robots and their intelligent control systems. Over the course of the 2000s, Kawamura made sustained contributions to one of the field's more challenging problems: enabling lighter-than-air robots to navigate, stabilize, and operate autonomously in unstructured indoor environments.
