Grazia Cicirelli is an Italian researcher whose work sits at the intersection of autonomous robotics, computer vision, and human-robot interaction. Over two decades, she has made substantial contributions to intelligent mobile robot systems, particularly in the domain of indoor surveillance and navigation. Her early work pioneered the integration of passive RFID technology with autonomous robots for environment mapping and localization, developing innovative fuzzy and neuro-fuzzy inference methods to overcome signal limitations inherent to RFID systems.
