Bao Kha Nguyen is a researcher whose work spans smart material actuators, bio-inspired robotics, and agricultural automation. His early career made significant contributions to the control of Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) actuators — materials capable of returning to a predetermined shape upon heating with wide-ranging applications in aeronautics, surgery, and robotics.
