About
Abid Imran is a leading roboticist whose work bridges bio-inspired design, intelligent control, and digital manufacturing. His core research areas include mobile robot navigation, dual-arm manipulation, and rehabilitation robotics. Imran’s most significant contribution is the development of a closed-form analytical model for internal impulses during dynamic machining tasks—a biologically inspired approach using musculoskeletal dual-arm manipulators that reduces internal forces during hammering and sawing.
