About
Yanhong Chen is a rising leader in bio-inspired robotics, specializing in the design and control of insect-scale robots and reconfigurable robotic systems. Her most impactful work, the S²worm robot (2022, 37 citations), introduces a fast-moving, untethered insect-scale robot with a novel 2-degree-of-freedom transmission mechanism, achieving unprecedented maneuverability and autonomy for miniature robots.
