About
Ximin Lyu is a robotics researcher whose work spans autonomous navigation, legged and wheeled robotic systems, UAV sensing, and multi-robot communication — areas that collectively push the boundaries of intelligent, real-world robot deployment. Among Lyu's most recognized contributions is a framework for trajectory generation in complex three-dimensional terrains, moving ground robot planning decisively beyond traditional 2D assumptions and earning 20 citations since 2023. This work addresses a critical gap as robots increasingly operate in unstructured environments with variable terrain topology.
