Priyam Parikh is a robotics researcher dedicated to developing affordable, assistive technologies that restore independence to the elderly and specially-abled individuals. His primary research areas encompass assistive robotics, trajectory planning, human-robot interaction, and the application of machine learning and additive manufacturing to robotic design. Parikh’s most significant contribution is the design and development of a low-cost, vision-based 6 DoF assistive feeding robot, a 3D-printed serial manipulator that uses computer vision to autonomously feed users.
