Kourosh Darvish is a versatile robotics researcher whose work spans humanoid robot teleoperation, human-robot collaboration, and autonomous laboratory systems. His 2023 survey on humanoid robot teleoperation, already amassing 236 citations, has become a landmark reference in the field, systematically mapping how human cognitive expertise can be coupled with the physical capabilities of humanoid platforms. This work is complemented by his contributions to the iCub3 avatar system, which enables fully immersive remote embodiment of humanoid robots, pushing the boundaries of human-machine integration.
