Hidemi Hosokai is a pioneering roboticist whose research has fundamentally advanced the development of specialized mobile robots for infrastructure inspection and maintenance. His key contributions span three transformative areas: pipeline inspection robots, novel actuator systems, and biologically inspired locomotion mechanisms.
