E. Palazzi is a leading astrophysicist whose research centers on the explosive physics of Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) and the development of robotic, multiwavelength astronomical instrumentation. His most significant contributions involve the rapid, automated observation of GRB afterglows, particularly in the near-infrared (NIR).
