About

Adeem Jassani is an astrophysicist at the forefront of time-domain astronomy, specializing in the design and deployment of robotic telescopes for transient detection. As a key contributor to the GROWTH-India Telescope (GIT)—India’s first robotic eye for time-domain astrophysics—Jassani helped establish a 70 cm, wide-field facility with a 0.7-degree field of view, set up collaboratively by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics and IIT Bombay.
