Yasuomi Tada is a pioneering roboticist whose work has fundamentally advanced the control and maneuverability of non-conventional mobile robots. His primary research areas center on the dynamics, modeling, and feedback stabilization of wheeled and spherical robotic systems. Tada’s most influential contribution is his groundbreaking work on spherical rolling robots equipped with gyroscopic mechanisms.
