Abstract
This paper introduces kinematics simulation for a kind of 5 degree-of-freedom robot based on ADAMS. The method of building 3D virtual models for the robot is given. Regarding a familiar industrial robot as study object and using ADAMS, displacement, velocity and acceleration of the end of robot manipulator is given. It provides a basis for robot motion control and optimization design.
