Abstract
This paper focuses on the development of an underwater robot capable of efficiently collecting waste from both the water surface and underwater environments. The robot incorporates a suction mechanism that enables it to effectively gather waste materials. Additionally, a combination of ballast tanks and thrusters allows for manoeuvrability and control during operation. The robot maintains tethered communication with a ground control system, ensuring seamless remote control and monitoring. Furthermore, waste collection is made effortless through the implementation of a detachable waste collection bin. This project aims to provide an innovative solution for waste management in aquatic environments, contributing to the preservation and cleanliness of underwater ecosystems.
