About

Yahui Yun is a robotics and biomedical engineering researcher whose work sits at the intersection of tactile sensing, minimally invasive surgery (MIS), and robotic systems. Specializing in piezoelectric sensor design and robotic palpation, Yun has made significant contributions to restoring the sense of touch in robot-assisted surgical environments — a critical capability largely absent from conventional minimally invasive procedures.
