Wenchao Gao is pioneering the next generation of electronic skins (E-skins) by merging bio-inspired design with advanced materials engineering. His research focuses on developing stretchable, multifunctional sensors that can simultaneously perceive pressure and strain—mimicking the sensory capabilities of natural organisms like squid.
