Qiuchun Lu is a rising leader in the field of bioinspired soft electronics and smart materials, with a focus on creating next-generation interfaces for soft robotics and human-machine interaction. Her most impactful work, the 2021 paper on a "Biologically Inspired Stretchable, Multifunctional, and 3D Electronic Skin," has garnered 58 citations and introduces a groundbreaking electronic skin (SMTE) that mimics a squid’s natural structure.
