Wan‐I Lee’s research career is defined by contributions to artificial intelligence and fuzzy systems, particularly in the context of retail and control applications. Her most cited work, a 2011 paper on a hybrid AI sales-forecasting system for convenience stores, garnered 66 citations and explored the intersection of computer-aided ergonomics with intelligent store operations. This work aimed to revolutionize inventory and sales prediction in Taiwan’s competitive retail sector. A second highly cited study from 2010, on half-circle fuzzy numbers and their application in fuzzy control, received 25 citations and sought to advance fuzzy logic methodologies for engineering systems.
