About

Taichi Kitamura is a pioneer in the emerging field of bio-inspired modular robotics, with a focused expertise in harnessing the principles of protoplasmic streaming for robotic locomotion and control. His most notable contribution is the development of a modular robot directly driven by protoplasmic streaming, a concept detailed in his highly cited 2009 paper (14 citations).
