Tabassum Rashid is a rising scholar whose work sits at the critical intersection of artificial intelligence, psychology, and cross-cultural measurement. Her primary research areas include AI literacy, the psychological impact of emerging technologies, and the validation of psychometric instruments across Arabic-speaking populations. Rashid’s most significant contribution to date is leading the multinational validation of the first Arabic translation of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale (AILS), a study that garnered 14 citations shortly after its 2024 publication. This work, conducted across university students in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and other Arab nations, addresses a crucial gap by providing a culturally adapted tool to measure AI literacy in a region where no such validated scale previously existed.
