About
Mariam Dabbous is a rising scholar at the intersection of psychometrics, artificial intelligence, and cross-cultural psychology. Her research focuses on the psychological and educational dimensions of AI adoption, particularly in Arab populations. Dabbous’s most significant contribution is leading the multinational validation of the first Arabic version of the Artificial Intelligence Literacy Scale (AILS), a study involving university students from four Arab countries. This foundational work, which has already garnered 14 citations since its 2024 publication, provides a critical tool for measuring AI literacy in Arabic-speaking contexts, filling a notable gap in the literature.
