Seung Yun Song is pioneering hands-free physical human-robot interaction, with a focus on assistive mobility for manual wheelchair users. His core research integrates torso-dynamics estimation, force-sensing seat technology, and inertial measurement units to enable intuitive, hands-free control of mobile robots and wheelchairs.
