Sang-Eun Park is a leading figure in orthopaedic biomechanics, whose work has fundamentally advanced our understanding of knee joint function and the performance of total knee arthroplasty (TKA). His research centers on the intricate interplay between implant design, soft-tissue constraints, and knee kinematics, with a particular focus on the role of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in both native and replaced knees.
