About
Qingyue Li is pioneering the development of next-generation soft robotics and smart materials, with a primary focus on liquid crystal elastomers (LCEs) and their applications in bio-inspired actuation. Her major contributions include inventing a scalable method for the continuous production of monodomain LCE fibers, which achieve an extraordinary reversible contraction ratio of 55.6% under light and heat stimuli—a breakthrough for artificial muscle technology.
