About
Muhammad Umar Masood is a robotics researcher whose work focuses on the intersection of unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and robotic manipulation for real-world applications. His primary research areas include embedded control systems, agricultural robotics, and search-and-rescue platforms. Masood’s most impactful contribution is the development of an FPGA-based control system for a UGV equipped with a 5-DOF robotic arm, demonstrating how reconfigurable hardware can enable precise, customizable control in field robotics (16 citations).
